Assam Police Recruitment 2020 Eligibility :- ·         H.S.L.C or Class X passed from a recognized Board or Council. ·         Other Qualification: Home Guards Training Certificate or NCC ‘A’ Certificate. ·         Note: The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing Home Guards Training Certificate or NCC ‘A’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.

Assam Police Constable Selection Process:-
Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) and Written Exam.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 40 Marks
Male Candidates:- ·         Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 3200 meters. Race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds). ·         Long Jump: Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Female Candidates:- ·         Race: Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600mtrs. race to be completed within 08 minutes. ·         Long Jump: Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).
Written Test:-50 Marks ·         Written test will consist of 100 multiple choice type questions to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. ·         For each correct answer the candidate will get half a mark. ·         Questions will be of the level of class IX and X. ·         Total marks for the Written Test will be 50. ·         There will be no negative marking. ·         Written Tests will be conducted throughout the State on the same day in each district. ·         The date of the written test will be notified in due course. ·         The subjects to be covered will be as follows: a.     Elementary Arithmetic b.    General English c.     Logical reasoning / Mental ability d.    Assam’s History, Geography, Polity, Economy e.     General Awareness / General Knowledge and current affairs
Extra – Curricular Activities:- Max 10 Marks ·          Educational Qualification: 5 Marks ·         NCC Certificate: 03 Marks ·         Sports : 05 marks ·         Proficiency in Computers: 05 Marks ·         Diploma / ITI / Certificate Course : 03 Marks
Final Merit List:- 100 Marks
·         Marks for PET: 40 Marks ·         MCQ Written Exam: 50 marks ·         Extra Curricular Activities : 10 Marks

·         Passport Size Photograph: The photograph must have been taken after 1st January, 2020. ·         Signature : With a black or dark blue ink on a white paper ·         Documents : HSLC / Xth Marksjeet, Cast Certificate, DOB Proof, NCC Certificate, EWS Certificate
