GEMI Education Details:-
Assistant Environmental Engineer: · Bachelor Degree in Engineering with the first class in the Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering with the environment as an elective. ·      Should have the basic knowledge of Computer Application ·      Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
Senior Scientific Assistant: · Graduate Degree in the discipline of Environmental Science/ ChemistryBioChemistry / Microbiology / Aquatic Biology / Marine Biology / Bio Science / Bio-technology. ·     Should have the basic knowledge of Computer Application ·     Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
Deputy Superintendent: ·  Bachelor Degree with First Class in Commerce, Arts, Law, business administration, or Science with 02 Years Experience. ·         Should have the basic knowledge of Computer Application ·         Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
Clerk cum Typist: ·    Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Arts, Law, Business Administration or Science. ·       Should have the basic knowledge of Computer Application ·       Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
Pay Scale:-
Assistant Environmental Engineer :   ·      Pay Scale as per 7th pay: Level 8 (44900 – 142400)
Senior Scientific Assistant : ·     Pay Scale as per 7th pay: Level 7 (39900 – 126600) Fixed pay Rs. 38090 for First Five Years
Deputy Superintendent : ·    Pay Scale as per 7th pay: Level 7 (39900 – 126600) Fixed pay Rs. 38090 for First Five Years
Clerk cum Typist : ·    Pay Scale as per 7th pay: Level 2 (19900 – 63200) Fixed pay Rs. 19950 for First Five Years
