Oil India Limited Tradesman Eligibility
Electrician Trade : Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade and Must have passed Class 10th. Must possess valid Electrical Workman’s Permit (Part/ Class I & Part/ Class II) issued by Government Electrical Licensing Board.
Fitter Trade : Trade Certificate in Fitter Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade : Trade Certificate in Mechanic Motor Vehicle Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Machinist Trade : Trade Certificate in Machinist Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Mechanic Diesel Trade : Trade Certificate in Mechanic Diesel Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Electronics Mechanic Trade : Trade Certificate in Electronics Mechanic Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Boiler Attendant : Trade Certificate in the relevant course of 2 years duration and Must have passed Class 10th. Must possess valid and current 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate.
Turner Trade : Trade Certificate in Turner Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Draughtsman Civil Trade : Trade Certificate in Draughtsman Civil Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Instrument Mechanic Trade : Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanic Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics : Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects
Surveyor Trade : Trade Certificate in Surveyor Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Welder Trade : Trade Certificate in Welder Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
IT&ESM / ICTSM / IT Trade : Trade Certificate in IT&ESM / ICTSM / IT Trade and Must have passed Class 10th.
Oil India Tradesman Selection Process
Candidates will be called for Computer Based Test (CBT) only on the basis of their declaration in the completed online application form. The question paper for Computer Based Test (CBT) will consist of 3 (three) sections as detailed hereunder viz. (A) English Language & General Knowledge / Awareness with some questions on Oil India; (B) Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical & Mental Ability and (C) Relevant Technical Knowledge in the course curriculum depending on the trade. There will be no negative marking in the Computer Based Test (CBT). The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be bilingual i.e. English & Assamese. Total duration of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 02 (two) hours.
