HPSC HCS Recruitment 2021 Selection Process
The Selection Process of Haryana HPSC HCS 2021 includes the following stages: 1. Preliminary Written Exam (200 Marks) 2. Mains Written Exam (600 marks) 3.  Personality Test / Interview (75 marks) 4. Document Verification 5. Medical Examination
Preliminary Written Exam (200 Marks)
·  Both the Question papers shall be of objective type. ·  Each paper shall be of two hours duration. · Question papers shall be set bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi. ·  For each wrong answer, one fourth (0.25) mark shall be deducted. · The Paper – II i.e. Civil Services Aptitude Test shall be a qualifying paper. · The result of preliminary examination shall be based on the marks obtained in Paper – I only, Paper 1 General Studies 100 Marks Paper 2 Civil Services Aptitude Test 100 Marks Total 200 Marks
Mains Written Exam (600 Marks)
·  The Main Written examination shall comprise of four papers of conventional/ essay type which shall be of three hours duration each. ·  The candidates shall write their answers in Hindi or English except in language or literature papers.
